Does sex
education provide essential information for children in order to
protect them against pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases or
is it an amoral ideology that undermines biblical morality?
Does sex education benefit
children or harm them? Do children actually benefit from being
given contraceptives without their parents knowledge or consent?
In Lessons in Depravity, I conclude that sex education
has grown out of the ideology of the sexual revolutionaries whose
purpose was to destroy what they called traditional morality.
Without any doubt sex education is one of the most important moral questions
facing our nation. And yet few people know what is being taught to
children in the name of sex education. Few parents are aware of the fact that their children are
being given contraception without their knowledge or consent, irrespective of
the age of the child. Few people know that around 85 thousand under-age children are
recruited into contraception every year. More teenagers than ever before
are using contraception. After three decades of sex education the UK has
the highest teenage pregnancy rate in Western Europe and an epidemic of sexually
transmitted diseases among young people. Why is this so? Why is the
Government pushing the 'morning after pill' so hard? The sad truth is that the most important
factor in teenage pregnancies is contraceptive failure. Therefore the more
children and young people recruited into contraception, the higher
the unintended teenage conception rate.
Lessons in Depravity is a carefully
researched, well-documented book that shows the destructive ideology behind sex
education, and proposes a Christian alternative. Click here for
chapter 1, which
describes the Government's policy on sex education. Click here for
chapter 2,
which exposed the amoral ideology that lies behind sex education.
A critique of Dying to Learn shows how Christian Aid is
promoting the safer sex ideology in the name of Christianity.
The young people of Africa deserve better from the Christian faith.
Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF) the believes that churches and
prayer groups should use the resources of the UNAIDS website in the
worldwide fight against HIV/AIDS.
The Christian Medical Fellowship
encourages churches to use the resources available on the UNAIDS
website in the worldwide fight against HIV/AIDS shows why
the CMF is wrong to promote an amoral website among Christian
churches. The Christian Medical Fellowship could have
encouraged churches to teach the biblical view of sexual conduct in
the fight against AIDS. But it has not done so. The CMF’s campaign
to encourage the Church of Christ, God’s holy people, to become
partners with UNAIDS is wrong for two reasons.
First, the CMF is wrong
to ignore the Scriptures that command God’s people not to be
unequally yoked together with unbelievers. Second,
the CMF is wrong to encourage the Church to use a website that
promotes an amoral view of sexual conduct.
A Power Point presentation,
Amoral sex education, illustrates in
graphic form the amoral nature of the sex education that is being delivered to
our children. The presentation shows examples of the type of literature
that is used by sex education. There are also graphics to illustrate the
shocking increase in use of contraception among children, and the epidemic in
sexual transmitted diseases. If you want to know what is going on in sex
education you need to view this presentation. |
